What is the purpose of Lista.net.nz?
Lista.net.nz is a place where Kiwi's can read and write reviews on businesses in their area. Now you can find a reliable and recommended business close to you. Great huh!

 

How do I list my business?
Listing your business on Lista.net.nz is absolutely free and it’s easy to join. Firstly you will need to create and account, you can do this by clicking here. Once you have created and activated your account you can now log in here. Once logged in you will be presented with a members menu where you can select "Submit Content", enter your businesses details and then submit. We will then approve your submission and post it to the site.

Now it’s up to you! Get your customers to review your business and reap the rewards of increased business through recommendation.

 

What information will be included in my listing?
Your listing will include all the details you provide including an up to 7 images, a link to your website, a map of you location, and a contact form so customers can easily get in touch with you. If you don’t have a website already then this is perfect! Just direct your customers to your listings link.

 

What are my favourites?
All listings have the ability to be added to your favourites by clicking the +ADD button at the top of a listing. This makes it easy to find the businesses you regularly use.

 

What are comments?
Every member has the ability to start a discussion around a particular reviewers comment.You can do this by selecting the "comments" link found within the review.

 

What happens after I post a review?
Your review will not be automatically posted to the website. All reviews undertake a moderation process to be fair to all involved. Once approved the review will be posted to the site and you will be emailed confirming this.

 

What happens when a review is posted about my business?
The review will be submitted to us for moderation. Once we have approved it you will receive an email with the details of the review including a link to the review.

 

How do you check the reviews are accurate?
It is very important to us that reviews posted on this site are fair and accurate. All content posted to the website will be reviewed before it is posted to the site. If we are unhappy with a particular review we will contact both the reviewer and the listed business affected by the review.

 

My business has received a negative review. What can I do?
The first step is to make a response to the review. You can do this by selecting the "Reply to this review" link within the review. Secondly, you can contact us and request that all your reviews be turn off or your listing be removed. Thirdly, it’s possible that the issue can be resolved by talking with each other. We can make a request to the reviewer for communication on your behalf. Often customers will not complain directly to a business but instead give bad feedback about there experience. Lista gives you the opportunity to talk to the customer and hopefully turn the negative feedback into positive feedback.

Importantly, if you believe the review is untrue or malicious, please contact us immediately to discuss further options available.

 

Can businesses rate themselves?
While we cannot stop this completely we moderate all reviews and will not post them to the website if we have a suspicion that it may be a self review. Additionally all reviews posted to the website require registration with a valid email address and the reviewers IP address will be recorded.

 

Will a business know it’s me that wrote a review about them?
No. You will be asked to choose a username of your choice. Only we will know your real name unless your username reveals your identity.

 

How do I submit feedback?
You can submit feedback in the same way that you submit a listing. Log in to the website and select "Submit Content" from the member’s area and then select "Feedback" as your section.
